The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (R.A.B.I) is a welfare charity which changes lives for the better. R.A.B.I financially supports farming people in hardship, giving out grants of around £2 million each year in Wales and England. To fund its work R.A.B.I relies heavily on its 54 county committees, made up of voluntary fundraisers – often with farming links – who understand the importance of giving something back to those who are enduring tough times due to such things as animal disease, accidents, ill health or extreme weather. This year, R.A.B.I has already paid out more than £145k in Wales.
